Topic: Look for the best jib crane to buy under $500

I have the Canon Rebel T2i. I really need a jib to make some professional taste into my shots.

I am new to the forums, and so far I love it!

I had planned on getting this one for a while after doing quite a bit of research...seems to be really cool never tested it though... I emailed the guy that created and he seems to be pretty legit...

I actually am planning on getting this one: http://www.kesslercrane.com/product-p/100041.htm

But I need a tripod that will run smooth and support it.

The Kesslercrane does look nice but I would suggest checking a couple other sources first. There is an episode of Backyard FX that teaches how to build your own jib/crane and there are other alternatives. I recently (by recently I mean several months back) purchased a ProAM crane from Amazon.com

I really liked this one and ended up purchasing both the extension and the stand for it. You can use a regular tripod stand though you want.
