Topic: Open Title / Comic book-style action

"open title"/Comic book style action

As I have said many times before, I think that this is a great challenge. It would require many weeks (i think 3-4) advance notice, or a general idea of a due date, that would allow what i have planned. So, if have not yet read my previous posts in "FUTUREFIGHTS best of the best" i shall expalin. What i'm thinking is mutliple shot from multiple angles done either simultainiously or seperatly. In whatever program you use (Aftereffect would be the best thanks to easy to use compositions) arange the shots in a progressive order like a comic strip. Add text and effects to make the final composition look as much like a comic strip as possible with black lines and weird angles for each "frame". Each of these shots can move continuosly or start playing once they come into view. if you still don't get what i'm saying watch parts of that bad THE HULK movie by Woo, or 24 to a lesser extent. 24 style stuff has frames that apear and remain in moslty static position, I want constant movement and transition. Post if you still don't understand. This is Editing Heavy. Filming would be easy, but the editing process would be super intense and take a long time.

Re: Open Title / Comic book-style action

I'd appreciate if people would start using more specific titles and genres for the new fights - I think it was more fun that way, since that's kind of how we started out at Filmfights.

Any title suggestions for a comic book style action movie?

"The Avenged"?

"Angel of Mercy"?

"Night Tales"?

Re: Open Title / Comic book-style action

I know, i just can't think of one. A title always makes the films better. i liked "the Avenged".

More suggestions

"the dark shows no mercy"

"Scared" as in "ow, that's gonna scar."

"2 hours til' midnight"

"the sun won't come up tommorow"

Something stupid or serious as long as it's actiony.  B)

Re: Open Title / Comic book-style action

I like the idea of a comic book style movie.
I don't, however, like the idea of it being open titled.
I think it'd be better with a set title.

Yeah, i don't like the idea of no name either, hence the name suggestions.

More name ideas:

"Night of Danger"

"Before the sun comes up"

"Never say die"

"Forgotten Cause"

"The unseen heros"
